Abstract

The capability of support units to support aviation equipment is an important part of combat effectiveness of Air Force, whose support capability has a direct effect on whether the task of aviation equipment support can be accomplished well or not. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate it scientifically. Based on the construction of capacity evaluation index system of support units, this paper comprehensively evaluates the support capacity of nine units with the system analysis software SPSS through factor analysis. According to each unit's support capacity, we can rank their overall scores and give a comparative analysis. Then, we can find each unit's support capacity presents an imbalanced trend. The scores of each unit demonstrate the direction and key points of future training. So equipment office can carry out a targeted training aiming at each unit's weakness in order to effectively promote a balanced development of their support capacity. © 2014 Springer-Verlag.
