Abstract

The main goal of this research project is to study the impact of digital educational games (DEGs) on primary students’ attitudes towards and attainment in algebra. We will combine the methods of game-based learning and storytelling to design a DEG on algebra for 10–11 years old school children and evaluate it with them. Our work will contribute to mathematics education and DEG design.
