Abstract

Agent-based simulation is getting more attention in recent days to investigate the social phenomena. This research focused on Pareto principal, which is widely known in the field of Economics. Our motivation is to investigate the reason of why the Pareto principal exists in the human society. We proposed a model for human-agent and conduct simulation. Our simulation result converges to Pareto principal that justifies the effectiveness of our proposed human agent model. Based on the simulation result we found that due to some factors in human character Pareto principal occurred in human society. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2013.
