Abstract

Thinking about an organization’s intralogistics is to group all league-two processes to the reception, storage, and distribution of raw materials and thermal products. In this sense, intralogistics is an activity that is part of the value of a company, according to its excellent management will depend on the results of the operation and an adequate level of customer service (Carvajal, Logística Supply Chain - Industria 2016, https://revistadelogistica.com/logistica/intralogistica-la-herramienta-clave-de-la-gestion-operacional/). The project proposes to evaluate the feasibility of the use of industry 4.0 technologies for intralogistic processes that allow the integration of automation and control processes for the continuous improvement of decision-making in intralogistic activities concerning the storage, loading and unloading of the logistics operators of the department of Atlántico—Colombia for the improvement of business efficiency. Therefore, a review of literature framed in three categories is performed: intralogistics, Storage Loading, and Industry and Technology 4.0, which seeks to identify the importance of each of them as a solution to the needs that are represented in the environment of the Logistics operators of the Department of Atlántico—Colombia, based on the challenges and projections imposed by the dynamics of the international market and especially the free trade agreements in which the neogranadine nation has signed and framed in recent years with the intention of making its economy and especially the organizations of their different regions more efficient.
