Ensuring Responsible AI in Practice

Abstract

In the previous chapters, we have discussed the issue of responsibility with respect to the processes to design, develop, deploy and use AI (Chapter 4), and how to deal with ethical reasoning by the AI systems themselves (Chapter 5). In this chapter, we will look at mechanisms that can ensure that all involved will indeed take the responsible route.
