Abstract

The word “Diaspora” is a Greek term referring to “dispersion.” It refers to the dispersion of Jews to countries outside of the Land of Israel, perceived as the Jewish homeland. Over time the Jewish people have, indeed, been dispersed across the four corners of the world.
