Abstract

This study integrates requirement considerations and environmental considerations to develop a green innovative design mode of Kansei engineering (Kansei- ECO TRIZ) for use by enterprises and designers during product development, in hope of bringing consumers, enterprises and the environment consistent expectation for green products. The contribution of this study is to develop Kansei-TRIZ (K-TRIZ) and integration of Kansei Engineering of green innovation design model (Kansei - ECO TRIZ). Results of this study demonstrate that this mode achieves more accurate demand analysis by hierarchical classification of Kansei engineering and makes innovation principles can more effectively provide ideas of design originality. Combination of two theories can draw on each other’s strength and exert maximum effect so that green innovative products can not only satisfy consumers’ requirements but also conform to elements of global environmental directive. Therefore, this mode to use as a reference basis for user requirements, environmental requirements and innovative design trend in the future.
