Abstract

Critical care ultrasound is a rapidly growing branch of point-of-care ultrasound with a long list of applications ripe for utilization in the critical setting. Establishing a critical care ultrasound program requires resources and planning. The authors describe strategies for both adult and pediatric critical care programs including specific topics such as billing, equipment, and credentialing.
