Abstract

This study aims to elucidate the prospect of moving toward electric vehicles in Bahrain market which became the market segment in automobiles. Not only for economical reason, also for environmental purposes. This research paper will review pros and cons of electric vehicles and how different stakeholder perceive the value and adoption of electric vehicles, especially it is a new product for Bahrain market. The main challenge is how to persuade supplier, investors and potential customers to move from conventional to electric vehicles. Not only that, this research paper will spread awareness about the future of automobiles industry. Electric vehicles are known with its smart charging as an alternative of fuel and gas. However, there are hybrid cars that are use both an electric motor and a traditional gasoline engine. Nevertheless, involvement of all stakeholders and focus on their engagement need to be taken in account in order to develop the innovation process.
