Abstract

At a time when there are strong attacks against the fimction of liaison, the teacher's profession is becoming increasingly difficult to exercise, including at a psychic leveL In the present article, without dwelling on a description of the socio-historical changes related to the crisis of hyper-modernity that have led to a new context for the exercise of the teaching practice, we seek to identify their consequences in terms of psychic suffering at work on a daily basis for teachers. We then attest to the possibility of transforming this suffering by recognising it within the scope of a group-oriented clinical accompaniment. Indeed, provisions for expression that offer teachers, through an appropriate group-oriented procedure, the opportunity for their professional complaint to be extended and transformed by a work of co-narrativity and co-thinking, relying on a metabolisation of emergent affects, furnish an adequate framework to deploy psychic care procedures that are vitally necessary to teachers nowadays for them to preserve a certain operational vitality in the exercise of their profession. © érès.
