Suburbanization, economic restructuring, globalization, and rapid developments in transportation and telecommunications technologies have had dramatic impacts on the urban landscape, fundamentally altering the spatial and organizational composition of where we work and where we live. How have these broad spatial processes impacted intra-metropolitan accessibility? How are these impacts expressed physically on the urban landscape?
