Abstract

This study examines and reviews more deeply the application of character education for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students, especially according to Abdul Majid and Dian Andayani. The study is motivated by the many violations and moral and moral declination, so character education is very important to give to children from an early age. This study aims to examine, How the application and contribution of character education for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah according to Abdul Majid and Dian Andayani ?. These problems are discussed through the study of literature. The Islamic Perspective Character Education book by Abdul Majid and Dian Andayani was used as the main source to get the picture. The next step, the data that has been collected is immediately selected, organized, and analyzed using content analysis, to be able to obtain data objectively. The results showed that the application of character education for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students according to Abdul Majid and Dian Andayani can use the TADZKIRAH method, T = Show an example, A = Direct, D = Encouragement, Z = Zakiyah, K = Continuity, I = Remind, R = Repetition , A (O) = Organize, H = Heart. And its contribution to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students can be given in the packaging of songs, playing, and stories telling.   Penelitian ini mengkaji dan mengulas lebih dalam mengenai penerapan pendidikan karakter untuk siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah khususnya menurut Abdul Majid dan Dian Andayani. Kajiannya dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya pelanggaran serta deklinasi moral dan akhlak, maka pendidikan karakter sangat penting untuk diberikan kepada anak-anak mulai sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan dan kontribusi pendidikan karakter untuk siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah menurut Abdul Majid dan Dian Andayani?. Permasalahan tersebut dibahas melalui studi literatur. Buku Pendidikan Karakter Perspektif Islam karya dari Abdul Majid dan Dian Andayani dijadikan sumber utama untuk mendapatkan gambaran. Langkah selanjutnya, data yang sudah terkumpul langsung diseleksi, diorganisasikan, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan content analisys, untuk bisa mendapatkan data secara objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter untuk siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah menurut Abdul Majid dan Dian Andayani dapat menggunakan metode TADZKIRAH, T= Tunjukkan teladan, A=Arahkan, D= Dorongan, Z= Zakiyah, K= Kontinuitas, I= Ingatkan, R= Repetition, A(O)= Organisasikan, H= Heart. Dan kontribusinya untuk siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dapat diberikan dalam kemasan lagu, bermain, dan bercerita. Kata Kunci: Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, madrasah ibtidaiyah, tadzkirah.
