Abstract

In this paper we discuss how we at Alarcos Quality Center implemented AQCLab, the first laboratory in the world to be accredited as meeting ISO/IEC 17025 for software product quality evaluation based on the ISO/IEC 25000 series of standards. We implemented AQC Lab following agile principles by means of an adaptation of the Scrum methodology. This work method helped us to progress in a challenging context which had several similarities to software development, where the requirements were uncertain from the start. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2014.
