Abstract

We investigated the phenomenology of heavy fermionic triplets belonging to Type-III seesaw model through their direct production at the International Linear Collider (ILC). In particular we consider the decay distributions of charged (Σ±) and neutral (Σ0) triplets in the processes e+e− → Σ+ Σ−,Σ0Σ0 and studied how they can be used to reduce the SM background. Considering all the possible final states, it can be shown that, Σ of mass around 250 GeV could be easily identified over the SM background, with center of mass energy of 1000 GeV and integrated luminosity of 300 fb−1 at the ILC. Further we considered the possibility of understanding the mixing of the triplets with the SM leptons, and found that analysis of the decay products can be sensitive to the mixing.
