This chapter provides an overview of labor force and workplace trends that can affect the financial issues of workers in the USA. Workers are financially stressed and their financial strain has been linked to health and productivity outcomes. While the great majority of workplace financial education has been limited to retirement plans, a comprehensive financial wellness program model has been identified and introduced to improve the financial well-being of employees. Research documented evidence to support the effectiveness of financial education at workplaces but also identified limitations and gaps. The chapter concludes with a summary of implications for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to effectively enhance the financial well-being of employees.
