A rather general experimental apparatus for measuring heat capacity and thermal conductivity and adiabatic temperature changes over a wide temperature range and as a function of magnetic field is described. The apparatus has also been used to calibrate a variety of temperature sensors as a function of temperature and magnetic field. The apparatus could be used to make resistivity measurements.
