The annual "bibliography of bioethics" provides updated, cross-disciplinary coverage of the rapidly growing literature on ethical, legal, and public policy questions that arise in health care and biomedical research. citations are to journal articles, newspaper articles, monographs, court decisions, and other publication types. volume 13 contains approximately 2,400 citations, many with abstracts, on topics that include allocation of health care resources, ethics of the health care professions, euthanasia, human experimentation, organ donation and transplantation, patients' rights, and reproductive technologies. citations from the "bibliography of bioethics" also are available online in the national library of medicine database bioethicsline.
