Abstract

A survey on current technology of 4G in IoT analyses the data transmission capacity, the security of IoT in 4G, the big data issues in IoT with 4G technology. In today’s technology heterogeneous networks with wired or wireless are playing a big role in IoT. A large number of different sensors, high-end machines, are being connected to share the data in IoT. The Big data is still needed better performance in IoT to show its accuracy. The heterogeneous networks using IPv6 instead of IPv4 using 5G becomes more traffic networks. So the speed of 5G can balance the traffic to make big data transactions success, better than 4G. This paper illustrates the drawbacks of 4G technology like transmission speed, security issues, network architecture, the key role of perception layer of the IoT network architecture, big data transmission and 5G technology specifications in IoT to make big data transmission success.
