Abstract

This research aimed at knowing the influence of classroom climate toward student learning motivation on Economics subject at the tenth grade of Social Science at State Senior High School 1 Ukui.  The lack of student learning motivation on Economics subject at the tenth grade of Social Science of State Senior High School 1 Ukui constituted a background of this research.  Quantitative approach was used in this research.  All of the tenth-grade students of Social Science were the population of this research, and they were 100 students.  The samples were 100 students.  The subjects of this research were the tenth-grade students of Social Science 1, 2, and 3.  The object was classroom climate toward student learning motivation on Economics subject.  Questionnaire and documentation were the techniques of collecting data.  The technique of analyzing data was quantitative data analysis using Product Moment correlational test analysis.  Based on research findings, it could be concluded that there was a significant influence of classroom climate toward student learning motivation on Economics subject at State Senior High School 1 Ukui.  This result was proven by the comparison between robserved and rtabel at 5% (0.611>0.195) and 1% (0. 611>0.165) significant levels, it meant that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.  The contribution of the influence of classroom climate toward student learning motivation was 37% based on R Square test, and the rest 73% was influenced or explained by other variables that were not mentioned in this research.
