Abstract

A 67-year-old female with a past medical history of sick sinus syndrome underwent implantation of a dual chamber pacemaker 2 years ago. The patient presented to her local emergency room (ER) after being bitten by a spider. While in the ER, she was placed on a cardiac and respiratory monitor. © Springer-Verlag London Limited 2011.
