PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN TATAP MUKA ERA NEW NORMAL DAN KUALITAS GURU TERHADAP TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN IPS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the effect of face-to-face learning in the new normal era on the level of student understanding. (2) determine the effect of teacher quality on students' level of understanding. (3) determine the effect of face-to-face learning in the new normal era and teacher quality on the level of students' understanding of social studies subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau. This research method uses a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive statistical research. The population and sample in this study were students of class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau with a total of 75 students. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire/questionnaire. Data analysis used partial t hypothesis test and F test with classical assumption test in the form of normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The results showed that partially there was a significant positive effect between face-to-face learning in the new normal era on the level of students' understanding of social studies subjects (0.005) < (0.05). Then, there is a significant positive effect between teacher quality on students' understanding level with a significance level of (0.027) < (0.05). Meanwhile, simultaneously, face-to-face learning in the new normal era and the quality of teachers affect the level of student understanding with a significance level (0.002) < (0,05). Kemudian, terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara kualitas guru terhadap tingkat pemahaman siswa dengan tingkat signifikansi (0.027) < (0,05). Sedangkan secara simultan, pembelajaran tatap muka era new normal dan kualitas guru berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pemahaman siswa dengan taraf signifikansi (0.002) < (0,05). Adanya penelitian ini diharapkan bagi seluruh pihak dapat memanfaatkan pembelajaran tatap muka era new normal dengan baik dan mengembangkan penelitian ini sebagai penelitian lanjutan.
