Abstract

Although almost any book on the writing of scientific and technical papers and reports is to be welcomed, especially if it underlines the need for clarity, brevity, and care, there must, I suppose, always be exceptions. This is definitely one. How much better this book could have been! Penguins have built up for themselves such a high reputation that it is sad to see this book issued with their imprint. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
