Abstract

A task planner that incorporates with a virtual reality interface for three-dimensional (3D) immersive interaction of CAD models and highlevel task planning of mating processes is introduced. The planner is constructed with several objectives, including, 3D immersive virtual reality (VR) interface, assembly analysis, feature/constrained update, and assembly path planning.
