Abstract

User Interface patterns have the potential to guide the development of conceptual user interface models. A pattern management tool, which would enable development and maintenance of collections of patterns and their use by user interface developers, is proposed. Preliminary results have identified six questions that can be used for describing the internal validity of a user interface pattern language. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.
