Abstract

The retention of green lateral branches by Scotch Broom allows nitrogen fixation to continue during mild winters. Tolerance of low soil temperatures is suggested to be a major factor contributing to the occurrence of winter nitrogen fixation. Copyright © 1979, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
