Abstract

Corrosion processes of offshore fixed platforms (OFP) of shelf deposits of the Black Sea are explored in this article. Factors which are affecting the intensity of corrosion processes in an offshore field analyzed in the article. Analyses which were conducted allow to structure these factors and calculate the weight coefficient of influence of each of them. The author calculated the corrosion rates for the elements of the support block depending on their location in different zones (underwater, periodic wetting or above-water) based on the data presented in the reports on technical diagnostics of offshore platforms of the Black Sea region.
