Abstract

In the development of information processing algorithms that insist on matrix-manifold-type parameter spaces, testing is a fundamental step. The present paper aims at providing an overview about the generation of random matrices on Lie groups. A random matrix is an array of random numbers. Imposing symmetry constraints on random matrices leads to relationships with differential geometry. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
