Abstract

Cystic lesions are commonly encountered in imagery of the liver. In the adult, these lesions are classified as being either of developmental or neoplastic or infectious or miscellaneous type (Mortelé and Ros 2001). The knowledge of their specific imaging features, in combination with the available clinical information, allows their characterization and assists in their medical management (Vachha et al. 2011).
