Abstract

The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is one of the important departments in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering of the University of Toronto. The Computer Engineering of ECE consistently ranks among the top in North America, even in the world, so its education mode analysis is very meaningful for us. The academic research areas, the undergraduate teaching program information and the training mode of the students' engineering practical experiences of the Computer Engineering in ECE department of U of T are analyzed mainly in this paper. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
