A total of 51 species of earthworms belonging to 23 genera and seven families from the western Himalaya are listed in this checklist. Detailed distributional records at district level under the western Himalayan states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal are provided. © Zoo Outreach Organisation.
