Abstract

Traces changes in gold and copper use from the Early and Middle Copper Ages to the Late Copper Age cultures in Transylvania. From an abundance of gold and copper objects in the earlier period to a paucity in the later, the trend indicates a less settled, less peaceful era in the region in the Late Copper Age.
