Abstract

Electrospinning is quickly becoming one of the most convenient methods for generating polymer, metal oxide and composite fibers. As a result, there is growing interest in the application of electrospinning and nanofibers to enzyme immobilization. In this review, the recent reports of enzyme immobilization via electrospinning are described. © Springer Science+Business Media New York 2012.
