Abstract

This study clarifies the winter performance of a floor heating and desiccant cooling system utilizing solar heat energy based onmeasurements and discusses the precision of a numerical simulation model. It was found that this system can harness solar heat energy to produce about 70% of a building,s energy requirements with a COP of about 4.5. In addition, measurement and analysis results indicated that the numerical simulation model has a sufficient level of precision.
