Abstract
Firstly, thank you for letting me speak in English. I suffered from the Englishman‘s linguistic poverty. But I hope that Ican share with you some of the thinking about Smart Grids, thinking that‘s coming from the European stakeholder group platform,some things that I bring from a previous job where I was with the regulator, Ofgem, in the UK for six years as a technicaldirector. And I have spent the last year in a consulting role. That gives me another opportunity to observe what is takingplace internationally.
