Abstract

The article focuses on human resources (HR) transformation through a multitiered approach to quality HR service delivery. HR transformation is defined as the less time is spent on administration and transactions and more time on adding value to the business units. It states that HR transformation can be achieved when administrative and service-delivery operations are separated from its strategic work. It presents the multitiered approach as an HR service delivery models that ensures the success of HR transformation initiatives, creates a more loyal and engaged workforce, and reduces costs. It also notes that models for HR service delivery vary in some ways such as its solutions for portals, HR knowledgebases, and HR case-management tools.
