Abstract

In view of the visual cognition theory, this paper aims to construct a universal evaluation system for automotive interior rendering. In terms of visual cognition and feature integration theory, this paper propose a visual cognitive evaluation framework for interior styling. Corresponding evaluation indexes are extracted and the weights of each index assigned. Application is conducted to test the effectiveness and feasibility of the evaluation system. The results show that a hierarchical relationship existed in the cognition of automotive interior rendering, and evaluation indexes can be divided into two attributes: basic index and additive index. The effectiveness and feasibility of the evaluation system is satisfied, which is effective to help designers to improve the scheme rendering specifically, and assist enterprises to make relevant decisions.
