Abstract

Most traditional sex therapy emphasizes anxiety reduction but neglects sex drive. An alternative method of treatment for impotence and female dysfunction is Stimulation Therapy. This is a way of increasing sex drive when the patient's sexual arousal is low or almost non-existent. One of the commonest referrals for sex therapy is one partner suffering from a low sex drive because the other partner has a normal or higher sex drive. This discrepancy can lead to much unhappiness in a relationship, but in recent years ways of increasing sexual arousal have been devised.
