Abstract

Polyphthalamide microcapsules were prepared by the interfacial polycondensation reactions between each of 1, 6-hexamethylenediamine and diethylenediamine and each of 0-, m-, and p-phthaloyl dichlorides tinder various conditions. The size and size distribution of the microcapsules formed were determined and the factors affecting them were of studied. Favorable conditions were suggested to obtain the microcapsules of uniform size in a high yield. © 1969, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
