Abstract

This paper reports findings from a study conducted to evaluate Intel's Service Delivery Platform for small businesses. The Service Delivery Platform adopted a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) approach, and aimed to deliver information technology (IT) services on a pay-as-you-go subscription model. The majority of small business decision makers found the solution appealing. Nevertheless, wide adoption of the solution will be contingent on quality and breadth of service offerings, cost, reliability of service delivery, and responsiveness of support. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.
