Abstract

We consider here a numerical technique that allows to build asymptotic-preserving schemes for hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with eventually stiff source terms. The scheme is build in 1D and extended to unstructured 2D meshes. Its behavior is illustrated by numerical experiments on different physical applications. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
