Abstract

Environment plays the most important role for any human or living being. Monitoring various perspectives of our surrounding has turned out to be one of the most vital parts of recent science and technology. One of the advancing and pacing technologies is Internet of Things. The rapid development in the field of wireless sensors and networks has made it possible for IoT to grow as one of the most revering fields of study. These IoT devices can not only automate things but also help with the improvement of health conditions by monitoring the deformities in the environment. Visualising the pollution caused in air, water, soil and other elements of nature is the vital need of today’s world. This paper offers a survey on the devices that are being used to detect and monitor the pollution caused by human activity and other natural phenomena.
