Abstract

In accordance with the title in this study, then the banks really need to pay attention to what factors are likely to influence an increase in the number of customers, it is very necessary factor considered by the bank management for the sake of continuity and still exist such institutions. The problem in this study is how much influence the promotion and location to increase the number of customers wadi'ah. The purpose of this study was to determine promotions and location factors to the increasing number of customers giro wadi'ah PT. Bank Syariah Branch North Sumatra and to determine which is the most dominant influence on the increase in the number of customers in the PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Branch Padangsidimpuan between the two factors above. Samples taken in this study using quantitative data and questionnaire as a data collection tool. Methods of data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, the classic assumption test, test the coefficient of determination and processing of data using SPSS 22:00. The results of this study indicate that the location of the variable significant effect on the increase in the number of customers in the PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Branch wadi'ah Padangsidimpuan on current accounts, while the promotion variables did not significantly affect the increase in the number of customers in the PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Branch wadi'ah Padangsidimpuan on current accounts. These results can be seen from the results of the F test with a significance value 0.000 <0.05. means that the t test of two independent variables most dominant influence the increase in the number of customers in the PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Branch wadi'ah Padangsidimpuan on current accounts is the location factor. Data in this study normal distribution does not occur heterokedastisitas, multikolinearitas and there is no certainty in the autocorrelation.
