Abstract

We have to re-examine the process that brought us to this question of culture as healing and where it intersects with clinical care. The chapter discusses the lived experiences of Indigenous people, presenting a model that uses a "medicine wheel" developed by Wesley-Esquimaux to facilitate the identification of the impact of trauma and the move towards healing.
