Abstract

The Sturm-Liouville equation (pu′)′ + qu = ω2u is one of the canonical and main objects of study in classical mathematical physics. Its theory has a long history and is quite well developed (see, e.g., [86], [129]). © 2009 Birkhäuser Verlag AG.
