Abstract

Colt Virtual Reality Limited (CVRL) was formed in 1993 bringing together a number of software specialists and engineers within the Colt Group of companies. Various business units within the group had invested in advanced software capabilities over the previous decade and recognised that significant potential was emerging within many organisations for software simulation. The development of virtual reality would further stimulate demand for new products and services.
