In real space, it is possible to know if there is a person standing behind you without turning one’s head. This is due to the quasi-electrostatic field, a type of electric fields that can be recognized by simulating body hair. However, a head-mounted display cannot recognize the presence of an object behind the user because it uses only visual and audio to interact with the environment. Therefore, we propose a system that promotes the perception of the existence of an object by generating a quasi-electrostatic field depending on the situation in 3D space.
