Abstract

In the paper we present an algorithm for solving the two-phase onedimensional inverse Stefan problem with the temperature measurements given in selected points of the solid phase as an additional information. Proposed procedure bases on the modified Harmony Search algorithm and solving of the considered problem consists in reconstruction of the function describing the heat transfer coefficient. © 2013 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.
