Abstract

Somatic structural variants in tumor genomes can deregulate transcription through repositioning of enhancer elements. A new method, PEAR-ChIP, leverages paired-end H3K27ac chromatin immunoprecipitation combined with high-throughput sequencing and current computational methods to identify such events.
