Abstract

The paper potential subscriber detection helps in finding who has the potential to convert from free users to the paid users. The problem statement is about finding the potential users who can get converted from free users to paid users and also finding the paid user who has potential to do another subscription. As we all know that vikatan was a paperback subscription of the articles, now it has come out with a new idea of reaching the customers with the articles in digital form. So they got introduced with the app named ‘Appappo’. This app works same way like other apps at the beginning. It is used to read only the best articles and stories from tamil nadu. So, according to this app while installing in your mobile for the first time you will be given Rs 51. Also we have the articles of Rs 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 categories. Hence according to the amount /cost of the article it will be detected from the wallet. When the wallet is empty then you have to subscribe and fill the wallet with the amount to continue reading the articles. This application or the research using machine learning algorithms to predict the exact number of subscribers and giving them offers rather than giving it to everyone. We had a major drawback in the magazines where you distribute the magazines to all of them and also the offers. It just made company to spend so much and also a waste of time for them. So they decided to make it digital and release to the customers as an android app so every people in the corner will get this and benefit with it and also not a waste of time for them and also a easy task compared to before.
