A Shar-pei five-year-old was sent to the necropsy with a history ofsudden death. Microscopic examination were observed in the heart,large pale areas surrounding the right ventricle myocardium and left.Histologically intense infiltration was observed in well-differentiatedfat cells in the myocardium of both ventricles associated withmoderate atrophy and degeneration of cardiomyocytes.Microscopic findings were consistent with a diagnosis of myocardialventricular dysplasia bilaterally.
